    Markus Hügel studied chemistry (diploma) at the Julius-Maximilians-Universitität of Würzburg from October 2006 to May 2012. He did his diploma thesis "Sternförmige stilbenoide Hybride mit Fullerenbausteinen" at the Institute of Organic Chemistry in the working group of Prof. Dr. Lehmann.
