Laser Lab

In 2011 we built up our new LaserLab located at ZER (Zentrum für Entsorgung und Recycling). With this system consisting of a Solstice/Topas-C (Newport/Spectra Physics) laser System, a Halcyone fluorescence upconversion Spectrometer (Ultrafast Systems) and a Helios transient absorption spectrometer (Ultrafast Systems) we are able to measure within a time window of 150 fs – 8 ns and wavelengths between 290 and 2600 nm. This enables us to analyze photophysical processes such as charge and energy transfer in organic molecules which are mainly investigated for use in organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) and organic solar cells.
